Hello!
My name is Melissa and I am a junior transfer student. I am a communication major at San Jose State. My experience in communication started at West Valley College where I earned an associated degree in communication studies. My favorite communication course ( so far ) was improving relationships through communication. I don't think most people know how important the seen and unseen aspects of communication shape our relationships, and this course turned on the metaphorical light bulb for myself.
I completed a small group communication course at West Valley and I couldn't be more excited to complete this course as well! I am a fourth grade extended care teacher at a private school, and I look forward to incorporating my learning from this course into my work and personal life.
